GIS and Information Management

Over the past two decades GIS has been applied in the E&P sector for more traditional purposes such as presentation and spatial analysis. More recently, GIS has emerged as an important tool in enterprise E&P information management solutions. This goes beyond a simple view of what data is available to include quality control, data integration, workflow processes, and data movement. This presentation will investigate the expanding role of GIS in E&P information management solutions.
