Speaker Biography

Joe is a senior energy executive with in-depth leadership experience in all aspects of pipeline and terminal operations, exploration and production management, refining, marketing, and joint ventures. He has served in domestic and international leadership positions for Tesoro Corporation and Unocal.

While with Tesoro, he held numerous positions including Senior Vice President, Logistics and Marine, and was responsible for all pipelines and terminals, rail trucking and marine operations. In his role as President of Unocal Pipeline Company and President of Unocal Natural Gas Pipeline Company, Joe was responsible for Unocal’s worldwide pipeline and terminal operations and project development.

Joe holds a B. S. Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State, a M. S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Berkley, and a M.B.A from the University of Southern California.
